Aleksander Varadian Johnsen

Aleksander Varadian Johnsen is a Norwegian and Armenian-American actor, director and playwright, trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (UK).

He made his professional debut in 2009 as the lead in Teater Ibsen’s Oliver Twist, and has since worked on various projects for stage and screen in London and New York.

Aleksander recently debuted as a playwright in Unge Viken Teater’s Ung Tekst Antologi 2021, and is one of four new playwrights in their Debutante Program for 2022.

He has appeared in short films The Book of Ruth and Family History, and is currently filming The LGBTQ Film Series, coming 2022.

Aleksander is trained in various styles of dance and movement, and works with voiceover in Norwegian and English for commercial, gaming and animation.
