Anne Marie Ottersen
Anne Marie graduated from the National Academy of the Arts in 1970 and has since then made a number of appearances on stage and screen.
She been connected to many theatres in Norway. Some of them are Nationaltheatret, Fjernsynsteatret, Det Norske Teatret, Den Nationale Scene and Radioteatret.
On stage, Anne Marie has contributed to productions such as Kjære Antoine, Jenteloven, Sherlock Holmes, Reisen til Julestjernen, To Kvinner and Romeo og Julie. She is also known for Hustruer, Den Sterkeste, Bryllupsfesten, Amalies Jul, Holms, Arme Riddere and Ingenting å le av from screen.
In 1986, Anne Marie was awarded with Amandaprisen in the category Best Female Leading Role for her role in Hustruer – ti år etter. In 2015, she performed her farewell role at the National Theatre as Anne, the mayor's wife, in the play The Government Inspector. She had been a permanent member of the company since graduating from the Theatre Academy in 1970.
