Aslak Maurstad

Aslak is a Norwegian actor, screenwriter, director, and gamer. He studied theater at Romerike and graduated as a script writer from Westerdals.

He has appeared in numerous films and TV series, including  Hvite Gutter, Lilyhammer, Beforeigners, The King's Choice og Basic Bitch. He’s also been a contestant on popular entertainment shows like Farmen Kjendis, Forræder, and Dancing with the stars. 

Aslak has extensive theater experience, both on and off stage. He co-founded Antiteateret, wrote and directed the world’s first live porn musical Gullstrupen, and even staged a play inside GTA V Online titled Sibus Montanus, a rewrite of Erasmus Montanus. To date, he has written 15 stage productions, 12 revues, 2 musicals, and 3 plays. Aftenposten has awarded him the revue prize twice, both as an actor and director, and two films he starred in, Nebula Blues and Robin, have won the Amandus Award.

He also hosted his own radio show Sånn er det bare on Radio Nova, and for over 24 years, Aslak has worked as a dubbing and voice actor in film, TV series, and video games. In addition, he’s a Twitch partner, streaming twice a week on his own channel. In the fall of 2024, he made his debut as an author with the release of Den store boka om gaming.
