Ella Øverbye

Ella made her debut in Dag Johan Haugerud’s film Beware of children, which received awards at the Gothenburg Film Festival, the Kanon Award, and the Amanda Award. She also played the lead role as Johanne in the film Dreams, which became the first Norwegian film in over 50 years to win the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Ella has also appeared in the animated short film Maybe Elephants and plays one of the lead roles in the Fenomen series Flukten fra Bolivia, set to premiere in the fall of 2025.
