Esben Dalgaard

Esben is a Danish actor who graduated from the Statens Teater Skole in Odense (2004-2008) and has since played leading roles in film, TV, and theater. 

He has appeared in feature films such as Sinkfri, Krumrne, Vores Mand i Amerika,The Stranger . He has also appeared in the Swedish production Exfrun. Additionally, he has had significant roles in TV series such as The Chestnut Man, Anker, Liberty, and Red Election.

He has been a fixture at the Det Kongelige Teater for many years, as well as performing on virtually all of Denmark's biggest stages. Esben has been nominated for awards multiple times, including as Actor of the Year in En Fremmed Flytter Ind, and supporting roles for both The Chestnut Man and Better Separated Than Ever. 

He is also an author and has published the bestseller MæRKET, as well as 4 books about the boy Morten Mortensen, with a 5th on the way. Simultaneously, he is an active speaker and presenter. Most recently, he was a presenter on Denmark's TV2 "Knæk Cancer," as well as a podcast presenter on DR in the series Before We Die.
