Gard B. Eidsvold

Gard is a versatile actor, director, producer and playwright.

He has extensive experience from film- and TV productions including the films Doktor Proktors tidsbadekar, Grand Hotel, Kraftidioten, Beatles and Askeladden – I Dovregubbens hall. He also had roles in various TV series such as Dag, Hvaler, Hjerte til hjerte, Wisting and Heksejakt.

Gard also has the role of Tobias in the Norwegian Netflix movie Troll, which became a big international success after the premiere in December 2022. He is also doing the lead role as Qusling in the movie Quslings siste dager.

In 2010 he won Gullruten Award in the category “Best male actor” for the drama series God natt elskede.

Gard Eidsvold was the initiator, and is CEO, of Oslo Moderne Teater. He is also a recurring producer and actor for Statsteatret.
