Iman Meskini

Iman is known for her role as Sana in the Norwegian TV series SKAM, in which the fourth season her character had the leading role. Later on she has been seen in the successful TV series Pørni and did the role as journalist Sabine in the Christmas movie Christmas on Cobbler Street. 

In addition to acting, Iman travels around giving speeches and lectures about growing up as a muslim. 

In 2018 Iman was awarded with Brobyggerprisen for her contribution to reduce the distance between people with different religions. The same year she published the book «#minhistorieminmening – 313 stemmer om hijab», which is about how young muslims see themselves in the modern community. Iman was also the first woman to be on the front page of Costume, Norway's biggest fashion magazine, wearing a hijab. 

In 2022 Iman was one of the candidates for Forbes’ “30 under 30” list in the category “social impact”.
