Jan Martin Johnsen

Jan Martin graduated from the National Academy of Theatre. After completing his education, he moved to Bergen and Den Nationale Scene, where he worked until 2006.

In Oslo, Jan Martin has been involved in productions for most of both institutional and private theaters, including Mary Poppins, Shockheaded Peter, Så som i himmelen og Moulin Rouge.

On screen, we've seen Jan Martin in TV series like Schmokk, Hotel Cæsar and in the critically acclaimed and award-winning NRK series Valkyrien and Heimebane-as well as 17 og Norsk-ish for the same network.

Jan Martin has also been awarded the Pernille statuette in Bergen (2005), the Aud Schønemann Prize (2009), and the Comedy Award for Best Male Stage Comedian in 2015.

Additionally, he is an experienced voice actor, with several well-known animated films and cartoons on his resume. Jan Martin can speak fluent Eastern Norwegian as well as the Trøndelag dialect.
