Morten Svartveit

Morten is a Norwegian actor, educated at The Russian Academy of Theatre Art (2008) and has years of experience from several theaters, films and TV series.

He is well known to the public throught his role as Espen Eide in the NRK drama success Heimebane.  In addition, he has taken part in productions such as the drama film, As I Fall, the HBO series  Beforeigners, the feature film Ninjababy, The Innocents, as well as the award-winning Pørni for  Viaplay and the NRK series Gutta på skauen. 

Morten also had a role in Love, the final film in Dag Johan Haugerud’s trilogy Sex, Dreams, and Love. The film was selected for the main competition at the Venice Film Festival, where it also had its world premiere.

He has a wide range from plays for children, through musicals to serious dramas and is currently a part of Det Norske Teatret's ensemble.
