Selma Ibrahim

Selma began her career at NRK as a reporter and journalist for Supernytt and soon got the chance to try her hand as a host.

She has appeared in NRK series such as Skam,Superkrim, Supernytt, and Jakten på sannheten. Selma has also been an emcee for Mitt grønne Oslo, Hvalstrandfestivalen, and Lik meg. As a host, she has led shows like MGPjr, for which she won the Gullruten award for Best Host Entertainment, Alle mot 1, and Spellemannprisen.

In 2022, she was named the year’s BlimE artist and was awarded a platinum trophy for over six million streams of the BlimE song Den Ene. That same year, she debuted as an author with the book Bare en venn (Just a Friend), based on her own experiences during a challenging adolescence.

She was also a participant in Season 19 of Dancing with the stars and Season 3 of Ramme Sporter.
